The Firm embraces a "team" approach to the provision of quality services to our clients. The paralegal position is a critical and essential part of that team. Because we are a boutique family law firm, as for all member of our team, excellent "people" skills are the first prerequisite of the position. As team members, our paralegals interface with our clients, attorneys, case managers, document control clerks and other valued members of our staff.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a paralegal or legal secretary is required. Experience in family law is preferred. Excellent computer and communications skills are required in this position, along with good "people' skills. The ability to multi-task and prioritize various assignments is also required. Position's responsibilities include preparation of various legal documents, calendaring and co-ordination of events, hearings and client meetings, and review of case files to determine status of files and updating computer case files.
